The Black Eyed Peas Ringtones and Real Tones

On the soft side of the hip hop scene, The Black eyed Peas began on the breakbeat circuit in the early 1990's with will.i.am and apl.de.ap. After a few minor setbacks they debuted in 1998 with an album called Behind The Front and followed it up in 2000 with Bridging The Gap.

It was not until the release of their 2003 effort Elephunk that the Black Eyed Peas achieved worldwide stardom and the awards they deserved. Songs such as Hands Up, Where Is the Love and Sexy confirmed their place amongst the hip hop elite.

In the summer of 2005 they released perhaps their most mature offering to date when Monkey Business hit the cd stands. Don't Phunk With My Heart, Gone Going (with Jack Johnson) and Shut Up are all memorable track which should stand the test of time while with ringtones and real tones such as My Humps and Pump It The Black Eyed Peas should continue making good music well into the next decade. WillIam recently featured on the Pussycat Dolls song Beep.

At the Grammys in February 2006, The Black Eyed Peas walked off with the award for best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for their ringtone hit Don't Phunk With My Heart.

Fergie's real tone could be Aretha Franklin's I Say A Little Prayer
