Jack Johnson Real Tones Born in 1975, the son of a professional surfer, Jack Johnson dreamed of making it as a pro until a bad accident in which he nearly died made him think again. Rehabilitating he took up his guitar and started penning some tunes.
The results came to the attention of record producers who helped him release his first album Brushfire Fairytales in 2000. It's phenomenal success saw him sign with a major recording company and he subsequently released two more albums On and On and In Between Dreams.
A keen environmentalist, Jack Johnson looks set to continue entertaining people with his well-crafted songs and real tones for many years to come.
2005 saw Jack Johnson add another string to his bow when he wrote and recorded the soundtrack to the animated movie Curious George.
